It is important to have your positivity drug from time to time. 

What is the positivity drug?

It is Grateful— grateful is considered the most effective positivity drug. Grateful is not just a feeling that you have to. It is a skill that we need to improve. 

From which pharmacy can we get the Grateful?

We can get the “Grateful” from our Mentality pharmacy. It is all about how we think. No one can give us this skill. We should not wait for anyone to give it to us. We ourselves need to bring it out.

Grateful for what?

Every one of us has at least one thing that he/she is grateful for. You need to consider it.

At the same time, you also need to bring new things into your life to be grateful for.

Is this important?

Yes. 

Because if you appreciate what you have, you will deserve what you don’t have

If you did not give the related value to what you currently have, how are you sure that you will give the value to the things that you don’t have?

Here is my opinion:

I consider myself a factory. This factory has workers. 

Now, I am seeking new workers while I am not giving the current workers their rights!

So, I need to give the current workers their rights, then I will hire new ones. 

Same thing for the Grateful. 

I need to be grateful for all things that I have, then I will seek other things that I am already running for. 

How can I apply this concept in my current role?

Everyone has his/her way. Let me give some suggestions:

  • You may be an expert person in a particular specification. Other people don’t. 
  • You may know how to write a blog post. Other people don’t. 
  • You may know how to draw. Other people don’t. 
  • You may know how to make your bed. Other people don’t. 
  • You may have good health. Other people don’t. 
  • You may know how to do a specific meal. Other people don’t.
  • You may have friends. Other people don’t. 
  • You may have a good job. Other people don’t.
  • You may have a family. Other people don’t. 
  • You are able to read. Other people don’t.
  • You have an internet connection. Other people don’t. 
  • You have good clothes. Other people don’t.  

Grateful VS ambition

Kindly note that feeling Grateful does not contradict being Ambitious. 

You can be a Grateful person and at the same time Ambitious person at the same time. 

Actually, both skills are complementing each other. 

Conclusion

Being grateful is a must skill if you you want to feel more comfortable and release your stress. 

You can consider it as a good starting point every day that will help you to try to gather more things to put on your grateful list.
